With a rich background in Management, Engineering, Strategy, and Operations, Andy's expertise spans across both technical and strategic domains. Currently, Andy focuses on empowering communities by building teams and processes that promote consensus, safety, and individual agency.

Before Sodal, Andy served as a Security & Startup Engineer at Protocol Labs, where he played a pivotal role in deploying security solutions for distributed teams. He has significantly contributed to projects such as Filecoin, IPFS, and libp2p, demonstrating his commitment to advancing open-source technologies. His professional journey also includes leadership roles in The US Army, where he honed his skills in Leadership Development and Operational Planning.
