Walid’s professional journey includes serving as a Software Engineer at Protocol Labs and holding Senior Software Dev Engineer and Software Dev Engineer II roles at Amazon Web Services in Vancouver, Canada, where Walid was recognized with a Tesla Inventor Award.

Earlier in Walid's career, Walid founded and served as CEO of Osoul, a business software development company in Tripoli, Libya, focusing on ERP, BPM, and CRM solutions. Walid also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Cloud Computing at Carnegie Mellon University, where Walid earned a Master of Software Engineering degree with a 3.96 GPA and was a Fulbright Grantee.
