Lilypad is a serverless, distributed compute network that will enable internet-scale data processing for AI, ML, and other arbitrary computation. Unleashing idle processing power by leveraging decentralized infrastructure networks, Lilypad unlocks a new marketplace for compute, making AI more accessible, efficient, and transparent for developers and users.

Challenges such as cost, vendor lock-in, and resource intensity impede developers from seamlessly integrating projects that require high-performance computing, such as AI technologies, into their applications. Lilypad mitigates these challenges by providing an independent global compute network accessible to everyone, extending unrestricted, permissionless access to computational power. By enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of high-performance computing hardware, Lilypad empowers a multitude of possible applications including AI inferencing, ML training, and providing cross-chain interoperability complement to bridge protocols.

94:Tefe,### Goals Lilypad aims to mitigate the challenges predominantly associated with the accessibility of high-performance computational hardware. Numerous barriers impede developers and organizations from smoothly integrating projects that require high-performance computing, such as AI technologies, into their applications. ### Proposed Solution Unlike conventional centralized systems, where access to powerful compute hardware is restricted and costly, Lilypad endeavors to democratize this access. Through its verifiable, trustless, and decentralized computational network, Lilypad extends unrestricted, global access to computational power. By leveraging decentralized infrastructure networks such as Filecoin, Lilypad is strategically positioned to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of high-performance computing hardware. ### Milestones | Milestone | Milestone Description | When | | - | - | - | | Milestone 0: Launched Lilypad v2 Aurora Testnet | Anyone can contribute compute to the network. The testnet has a base currency of ETH & a utility token called LP. Receive LP to pay for jobs (and nodes to stake) from the Lilypad faucet. v2 is an IPC compatible network written in Go. Modules include Filecoin data prep, Stable Diffusion (SDXL0.9), LoRA fine tuning module, LLM Inference, DuckDB, and more! Improved developer experience with detailed documentation and examples. | Q3-Q4 2023 | | Milestone 1: Launch Lilypad Calibration Net Program for Compute Providers | Devs and infra providers contribute their machines and experiment with running workloads directly over decentralized models and datasets. The goal is to stress test core network functions like job scheduling, compute resource allocation and data routing. | Q1 2024 | | Milestone 2: Lilypad Incentivized Testnet (running until Mainnet) | The Incentivized testnet aka “IncentiveNet” will run in phases testing out and rewarding different aspects of the market including compute providers, module providers, security bounties, game theory aspects, and application developers. IncentiveNet will run up to Lilypad Mainnet launch. | Q2-Q3 2024 | | Milestone 3: Whitepaper & Tokenomics, Module Marketplace | The Lilypad Whitepaper and Tokenomics will be released in mid Q4 2024. The Lilypad research team is working in partnership with the CryptoEconLab (from Protocol Labs) to design the economic systems powering the Lilypad Mainnet. The Lilypad module marketplace provides an end to end interface to add/run AI models and other programs on the Lilypad Network. Over time, Lilypad will deploy to multiple blockchains. This multi-chain strategy will be released in December 2024. | Q4 2024 | | Milestone 4: Tooling, Audits, Integrations & Plugins | As part of building the decentralized AI ecosystem, network tooling will be supported with an API for end-users, additional module creation tooling, and eventually a full SDK. Lilypad will support integrations and plugins from a variety of partners for decentralized storage, AI models, and more. The Lilypad Network Mainnet and TGE is scheduled to launch in late March - April 2025. Smart contract audits will commence in January for all Lilypad on-chain contracts. | Q1 2025 | | Milestone 5: Launch Lilypad Mainnet & Lilypad Token | Mainnet launch with Lilypad tokens paid to compute providers. Compute providers will earn tokens for processing compute jobs and providing verification of GPU uptime. | Q2 2025 | | Milestone 6: Support Mainnet & grow Lilypad Module Marketplace | Efforts will focus on tooling and support to grow the Lilypad Mainnet. The Lilypad Module Marketplace platform will serve a wide range of end users. A diverse offering of GPUs and tooling for end users will position the Lilypad Network for explosive growth after Mainnet launch. | Q3-Q4 2025 | 54:["$","$L92",null,{"memberId":"cm2cv0w4w002oqq02k3vagje8","serverMember":{"data":{"formattedData":{"id":"cm2cv0w4w002oqq02k3vagje8","name":"Brian Ginsburg","role":null,"email":null,"bio":"
