Laura M Gonzalez

Laura M. González is dedicated to catalyzing tech-powered new ventures for long-term value creation. She is actively involved with the Founders School at Protocol Labs, a two-month, cohort-based, virtual, and equity-free program that supports founders with a technical background going from 0 to 1.

With more than a decade in the early-stage ecosystem as a founder, operator, and VC across Latin America, Laura has contributed to and supported multiple ecosystem-building initiatives, including Colombia Tech Week, Makers Fellowship, START Global, and Women in Venture Capital.

She brings a strong background in finance, consulting, and management, shaped by experience in investment banking and C-level roles in early-stage companies. Laura has over six years of venture capital experience with on-the-ground involvement in Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina.

She holds an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Bath and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from Universidad de los Andes.
