Chad Fowler

Chad Fowler is the General Partner and Chief Technology Officer at BlueYard Capital. In this role, he leverages his extensive experience in technology and leadership to guide investments in transformative ideas that decentralize markets.

Prior to his tenure at BlueYard Capital, Chad held several significant positions. His time at Microsoft was marked by roles such as General Manager for Startups and Developer Advocacy, and Chief Technology Officer for initiatives like OneNote and Wunderlist. Notably, as CTO at 6Wunderkinder, he led the company to a successful acquisition by Microsoft.

Chad's earlier career includes serving as Senior Vice President of Technology at LivingSocial and as CTO at InfoEther. He is also recognized for his contributions to the Ruby programming community, having co-organized RubyConf and RailsConf, and authored several influential books on software development.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Chad is an accomplished avant-garde jazz musician and label owner, reflecting his diverse interests and talents.
