Jeff also serves as an IFF Fellow at the University of Nicosia's Institute for the Future, teaching law, policy, and regulation of blockchain and cryptoassets.

Previously, Jeff was a senior official at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), serving as Special Counsel and FinTech Advisor, and was the architect and founding director of LabCFTC, the agency's hub for FinTech innovation. Jeff led the CFTC's digital asset and blockchain work starting in 2015.
