Shawn Cheng is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Systemic Ventures, where Shawn invests in frontier technologies shaping future human and economic systems.

Shawn specializes in Web 2.5, DePIN, DAOs, and NFTs, and is actively involved in the crypto investment space, including membership in several Investment DAOs. Shawn also serves as a Board Director for Liquality and Tribute Labs.

Previously, Shawn played a key role in creating Vayner/RSE, an early micro venture capital firm, and led the incubator and investment strategy at ConsenSys Mesh for seven years. Shawn's career also includes significant experience in AdTech with roles at Razorfish, BBDO New York, and VaynerMedia, where Shawn helped launch and test early ad products for major platforms.

Shawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Marketing from San Diego State University. Currently, Shawn is focused on helping founders launch Web3 businesses to democratize the internet of value.
