Janay Harris

Janay Harris is the Co-Founder of Meraxis and Lead Architect for Governed Memory, where she helps build the operating layer for AI systems that execute, learn, and retain memory over time.

Her work focuses on creating the infrastructure that allows intelligent systems to operate with stability, traceability, and long-horizon continuity — capabilities missing from today’s fragmented AI stacks.

At Meraxis, Janay leads engineering and research efforts around governed memory, continual learning, and cognitive infrastructure, combining distributed systems design with AI orchestration to make autonomous systems more reliable, auditable, and adaptive across time.

She is currently focused on advancing the Meraxis platform to support the next generation of persistent, self-improving AI systems for enterprise, research, and safety-critical environments.
