Sebastian Fernández

Sebastián Fernández is the CEO of Unblind and a seasoned security leader with over 15 years of experience spanning traditional technology and blockchain ecosystems. Before founding Unblind, he held roles at Microsoft and Marshall Wace, where he led a team that introduced the Rust programming language into critical components of Microsoft’s infrastructure. Sebastián has been deeply involved in Ethereum security since the days of The DAO hack and has advised projects such as Hardhat and WalletConnect, in addition to conducting Solidity audits and reporting vulnerabilities across multiple protocols. Under his leadership, the Unblind team has intercepted and recovered over USD $1 million from active exploits
