Ramzi Rizk

Ramzi Rizk is the Founder and General Partner of Work In Progress Capital, a €10M fund based in Berlin dedicated to backing scientists and engineers.

Ramzi's investment thesis focuses on deep tech, AI, healthcare, neuro, defense, and energy, with a strategy of making multiple bets across different approaches at pre-seed and seed stages.

Previously, Ramzi co-founded EyeEm, a photography platform that scaled to 25 million photographers, pioneered computational aesthetics and computer vision, and went public on the Swiss Stock Exchange in 2021. Ramzi also co-founded aware, a company focused on technology for chronic disease prevention, and Berlin Photo Week.
