As a technologist and engineer by training, Debjit focuses on partnering with founders who are creating new industries or redefining existing categories with cutting-edge technology.

Prior to NGP Capital, Debjit was a Partner for seven years at Next47, where investments included Tractian, Skydio, Gecko Robotics, Locus Robotics, DataGrail, and Skylo. Debjit's experience also spans roles at Siemens Technology to Business and Rho Ventures, and an early career as a senior engineer at the Aerospace Corporation developing mission-critical thermal control systems.

Debjit holds a PhD and MS from Stanford University and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley, all in mechanical engineering.

Currently, Debjit is focused on investing in companies driving the convergence of the physical and virtual and spearheading an AI-driven industrial revolution.
