Fredric Petit

Fredric Petit is a Partner and Head of Materials & Packaging at Emerald Technology Ventures, a pioneer in industrial technology venture capital. Fredric co-leads the firm's dedicated sustainable packaging fund, focusing on advanced materials and industrial technologies for a sustainable future.

Fredric brings over 20 years of corporate experience from DSM, where Fredric held global business, innovation, sustainability, and communication roles in plastics, fiber intermediates, and fine chemicals. Additionally, Fredric served as CEO of Vibers, a startup specializing in sustainable paper, cardboard, biopolymers, and packaging materials from natural Miscanthus fibers.

Recognized as a runner-up SDG Pioneer by the UN Global Compact (NL) in 2020, Fredric's expertise includes materials know-how, a global network, and coaching skills.
