Steeve Robitaille

Steeve Robitaille is the Co-Managing Partner at Idealist Capital, an investment firm dedicated to accelerating the energy transition by providing growth capital to entrepreneurs across North America, with a primary focus on the Canadian market.

Steeve joined SPARK Microsystems' board in March 2023.

Steeve brings extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law. Prior to co-founding Idealist Capital, Steeve served as a senior executive in M&A, legal, and strategic functions at Bombardier from April 2019 to February 2021, including as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Before Bombardier, Steeve was Chief Legal Officer, Executive Vice President, Merger and Acquisitions for WSP from May 2017 to April 2019. Earlier in Steeve's career, Steeve was a Senior Partner at the law firm Stikeman Elliott LLP, where Steeve practiced corporate law for over 20 years and was a member of its Partnership Board and Executive Committee.

Steeve holds a law degree from Université Laval and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1994.
