Eric Ng

Eric Ng is the CEO of Happiness Capital, the global venture capital arm of the Lee Kum Kee Group, based in Hong Kong SAR.

Eric established Happiness Capital with a mission to create positive global impact, focusing investments from seed to growth stage across the US, UK, Europe, Israel, Japan, Mainland China, and Hong Kong. Happiness Capital specializes in areas such as Environment, Sustainable Food Systems, Health, and Trust, and is recognized as a Certified B Corp.

In addition to his role at Happiness Capital, Eric serves as a member of the Policy Research Committee of Hong Kong's Financial Services Development Council and is a board member of the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.

Prior to leading Happiness Capital, Eric co-founded AGENDA in 2000, growing it into the largest independent digital marketing agency in Asia before its acquisition by WPP in 2008. Subsequently, Eric served as Chief Client Officer (Asia Pacific) at WPP's Wunderman network. Eric's entrepreneurial journey also includes co-founding an AI cancer diagnostic and treatment planning startup in 1994, which was later acquired. Earlier in his career, Eric was a Director of e-Business at Cap Gemini US, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation, and worked as an AI research scientist and university lecturer in the UK.

Currently, Eric is focused on leveraging his extensive experience in global entrepreneurship to support startups that contribute to a happier world.
